Sister Spirit Song

Uplifting, inspiring, and freeing the voice of the woman’s soul October 19 - November 16, 7-8:30pm

You’ll learn a collection of beautiful songs and chants connected to each session’s theme.

You’ll sing in various modes in the style of polyphony – simultaneously combining several parts, each forming an individual melody and harmonizing with each other – creating a rich, layered songscape.

And you’ll be given the opportunity to create your own spontaneous soul songs, your own prayers, mantras and affirmations – put to a melody, grounded in a rhythm, and complimented by the group’s harmonies.

All while being held in the safety and support of kind-hearted women.

So delicious!

$89 – Register by October 15
Limited to 10 women

“Dinah helped me become a significantly better and more conscious singer. I wanted to improve my singing while playing guitar in group situations, to understand my vocal range, and become more comfortable with the sound of my voice. Dinah’s holistic method helped with all of it. I’m more confidant now and have a methodology on how to approach a new song. I highly recommend Dinah’s vocal coaching for anyone, even if you’ve never thought of yourself as a singer!”

Whole Earth Community Song Circle

Hosted and co-led by Dinah and her cohort of local and global heart-centered song leaders.

We are a growing community of voices rising in harmony to uplift humanity, open hearts, and spread messages of peace, freedom, gratitude, and justice.

We bring our love of singing, our craving for connection, our solidarity for human rights, diversity, and inclusion and send palpable energy of that harmonic vibration out to the global field. We bring our sorrows and our angst and transmute them through simple, multi-cultural songs of bravery, resilience, solace, gratitude, gladness, and empowerment. Sometimes sweet, sometimes feisty, the songs we carry and share both soothe and stir the soul. Come away feeling restored, hopeful, peaceful, energized, and buzzing with good juju. Won’t you join us?

We lead and learn songs in the oral tradition, which means we learn by listening in an easy to follow call and repeat style, not by using sheet music.

Stay tuned for next date(s).

Registration is by donation.

“Wow! That was so amazing last night. I woke up with one of the songs in my head and sang it as a mantra all day today. So beautiful!”
